I built the story around curiosity, humor, and characters. The starting point for Halloween 2026 was a desire to rethink the season beyond fear and darkness. Consumers are drawn to Halloween that feels playful, humorous, and character driven rather than scary. Decoration becomes more inviting when it sparks curiosity and a smile. This insight shaped every decision that followed, from friendly monster characters to softer silhouettes, tactile finishes, and color choices that feel rich without being harsh.
Based on earlier trend work for Halloween 2026, the direction focused on approachable spookiness and storytelling. Characters are expressive and slightly mischievous, never intimidating. Shapes are bold and easy to read, with details that reward a closer look. Each collection had to communicate its personality instantly on shelf. If it did not feel fun and recognizable at a glance, it did not move forward.
The Catalogue
The Halloween 2026 catalogue began with a process book created before the catalogue itself. This pre catalogue tool gave selected customers an exclusive first look at concepts in development and invited early feedback. It allowed ideas to be tested and refined while building a sense of partnership and trust.
The final catalogue builds on those insights, bringing the collections together in a clear and playful story. Strong characters, focused photography, and clean layouts make the range easy to read and easy to buy, showing how early collaboration leads to a confident and cohesive final assortment.
