Design Capsule: Summer 2026
My Summer collection was build on months of trend research, shopper insight and market analysis. I explored the shift toward modern nautical stories, where coastal themes evolve into something calmer and more refined.

When I build a collection, I move back and forth between research and intuition. The early spring boards showed jellified bubbles, gentle pastels, speckled surfaces and youthful shapes. I translated that into ceramics with rounded forms, scalloped rims and colour transitions that feel light and uplifting. The natural boards added another layer: organic curves, stone like surfaces, waves and subtle speckling. That guided me toward more tactile finishes, soft matte textures and pieces that feel calming and grounding. I wanted the first part of the season to feel like a gentle exhale.
By high summer, the Mediterranean mood takes over. Terracotta, lemons, shell lines, warm oranges and sun washed blues bring a sense of place. I used them as accents rather than a full theme, weaving them into a few select pieces that carry the late season energy. This makes the whole collection feel like one story rather than many disconnected ideas.
